Prayer Guidelines For Full Delivery of the Consolidation Agenda

While seeking the face of the Lord concerning hat the year 2015 holds, I kept hearing the voice of the Spirit saying, Consolidation! Consolidation! Consolidation!!! Immediately, I came to the understanding that God has a consolidation agenda for us in 2015.

Prayer Guidelines Towards The Full Delivery of the Consolidation Agenda 2015

Consolidation here implies establishment. As we all know, the ultimate quest of every organization or an individual is establishment or settlement. Consolidation also implies a review of approach through structural amendments as may be deemed appropriate. As I have often observed, until one is willing to review his approach, he cannot improve on his results.

Without any controversy, according to scriptures, God is the great ‘consolidator’ or ‘establisher’ of His work and His people. This, among others, is because everyone is only here for a season, therefore for anything to be established after one is gone, it must have to be God. As it is written; “And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.” (Psalm 87:5-7).

However, we discover from scriptures, four main forces were at work in the establishment of the early church:

  • The Power of Prayer – Acts 2:42 / Acts 3:1 / Acts 13:1-3
  • The Power of the Holy Ghost – Acts 2:1-4 / Acts 4:30-33
  • The Power of the Word – Acts 6:7 / Acts 13:44 / Acts 19:20
  • The Power of Wisdom – Acts 6:3-4 / Acts 15:17-19 / Acts 16:4-5

The fact that these are forces of establishment cannot be over-emphasized and that for centuries without end.

  • The church of Christ has continued to grow in power, relevance, and influence from glory to glory all through the ages – 2 Cor. 3:18 / Ps. 84:7
  • I believe that God has a consolidation agenda for both this church and the individual members this year – Is. 14:24
  • I believe that God wants us properly established as citizens of heaven this year – Phil. 3:20
  • I believe that God wants to advance and establish this church into higher realms this year – Acts 16:4-5
  • I believe that God wants to advance and establish this church into higher realms this year – Acts 16:4-5
  • I believe that God also wants to establish the works of our hands as individuals this year – Ps. 90:17
  • I believe that this year shall indeed be our year of advancement and settlement as individuals – Is. 60:8 / 1 Peter 5:10
  • As we are all aware, God has ordained that whatever He does shall be forever – Eccl. 3:14
  • But doing whatever God says is what commits Him to establish His work in our hands – Matt. 7:24-25

Covenant Pathways To Our Establishment

In order for us to be partakers of the establishment wonder of the early church, we must engage the same forces at work among them as earlier listed.
