SEEK THE EXPANSION OF GOD’S KINGDOM But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 Nothing ought to be more important to you as a child of God than getting involved in soul winning and Kingdom expansion. Matthew 6:33 enjoins that you seek first the Kingdom of God, and its expansion, and everything else will be added unto you. Now is the time to commit yourself to soul winning more than ever before. The time is short, and the Lord is counting on you. This is the day of salvation; this is the season of the end-time harvest. As God’s people we ought to recognize that the responsibility of telling others about the Gospel of Christ’s salvation has been entrusted to us (2 Corinthians 5:18), and we must do the work of Him that sent us while it is day. True success comes when you understand God’s vision and align yourself with it. God’s vision is that the knowledge of His Word fills the earth as the waters cover the sea, and He’s counting on us for that. He has made us ministers and witnesses of the Gospel. No matter what your vocation is, your primary objective should be to win souls into God’s Kingdom. One way to effectively align yourself with God’s vision of reaching the world with the Gospel is through your financial commitment. You must be vitally involved in sponsoring the Gospel around the world through your giving. This is the reason for the financial prosperity of God’s children (2 Corinthians 9:8). God expects you to be wealthy, not just so you can have enough to take care of yourself and your immediate family, but also so that you can give for the furtherance of the Gospel. Therefore, in planning your finances and resources, think of Kingdom expansion. It’s heavenly wisdom when you channel your resources into ensuring that the Gospel of Jesus Christ reaches the ends of the earth. As you remain steadfast in this grace, the Lord will continually increase your capacity to give even more, and multiply your finances exceedingly.
